Ingredients

  • 35g raw cacao balls or cocao powder (or 150g of chocolate)
  • 240ml almond milk
  • 6 dates
  • 1tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 punnet of berries

There is no cooking in this recipe- but you do need to prepare the chocolate pots in advance and let them sit in the fridge for at least 4 hours.

We used rasberries to top the chocolate pots but you can use any berry you like or a mix. We also had some cacao balls to hand- but you can use cacao powder or melt down some chocolate.

You can also substitute the almond milk with any other vegan milk.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

If using cocao balls, grate these. If using a bar of  chocolate, break these into pieces and either melt in a microwave or using a bain marie. Set aside.

Step 2

Remove the pits from the dates, then add these to a food processor/blender, alongside the almond milk and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.

Step 3

Add the chocolate into the blender, then blend briefly again to incorporate.

Step 4

Pour the mixture into four ramekins, then place into the fridge for at least four hours to allow it to set.

Step 5

Once the chocolate is set, top with berries. The dessert is now ready to serve. Enjoy!
